Main task
(16/3/16) This is our finished, edited, main task.
Q7: Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
Looking back at my preliminary task I feel I have gained a lot more knowledge from then until now.
Our preliminary task challenged continuity, the 180 degree rule and match on action. Having the chance to explore different ways in which I can use those conventions meant that my main task was more professional, looked better and also saved some time.
In the preliminary task I also got to use the editing software for the first time, being able to understand that meant that it saved a lot of time when editing the main task and also made everything run smoother.
For the main task I had more knowledge, I knew that I had to focus on everything that was in the camera shot, not just the main characters or objects.
The preliminary task also gave me the chance to experiment with different camera shots and angles, which gave me knowledge on what were the better shots and angles to use.

Editing & finishing main task
(25/2/16) In today's lessons we imported all of our filming clips onto the computer. We then chose the best clips and started editing them. Once we had edited them we removed all unwanted sound and placed the soundtracks that we wanted onto it. We then added our title sequence to our main task. This resulted in our finished main task, called Downfall.

Story board adjustments
This is our adjusted storyboard. We have added in new clips/pictures and taken away anything to do with the main character being a secret agent and changed to the police man idea. We've kept the car scene and the bedroom scene but changed the ending to the video.
Change of Main task
For our main task we have made a change as to what our film is going to be about. We have changed the idea about the main character being a secret agent into the main character being a police officer who is highly ranked within the police force, kind off an investigator. And rather than the secret agent being followed we have made it so that the police man has the criminals surrounded by a swat team and he is shocked by who the criminals are.

Planning
(21/1/16) In today's lesson we planned out the dates for when our production will take place. We then re-modelled our story to change it into a police film rather than an agent film. We re-wrote our storyboard with the adjustments we had made to our film, and to the ending to the film.
